I help you understand why your mind does that and how to stop living like everything is your fault. You don’t have to keep reacting to the present like it’s the past.

Years Experience

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over a decade of experience working with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma.
My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), but the focus isn’t on theory, it’s on helping you understand what’s actually happening in your mind and changing the patterns that keep you stuck.
I work especially well with people who are used to overthinking, carrying too much responsibility, or constantly trying to get things “right.” That usually isn’t a personality trait, it’s something you learned, often in response to trauma.
Therapy here is collaborative, direct, and focused. We identify patterns, understand where they come from, and build ways to respond differently so you’re not stuck repeating the same cycles.
I have experience working with LGBTQIA+ clients, people of faith, and others navigating complex identity and life transitions—but the goal is always the same:
Trauma shows up in how you think, react, and relate now. We help your mind and body stop responding like the past is still happening.
Being queer in the South comes with real pressure.
This is a space where you don’t have to explain yourself—and can feel more grounded in who you are.
When your beliefs shift, it can destabilize everything.
We work to help you sort what still holds and build something stable.
A space to think clearly about your gender without pressure.
I also provide gender-affirming care letters for clients 18+ when appropriate.
If you’re ready for clarity and change, start here.
